My company wants to help make Bitcoin wallets/trade better and is asking r/Bitcoin for your help!
Hi Everyone! Joseph from Knox Payments here. We’re new to the Bitcoin scene, but recently announced a partnership with Vogogo to power their U.S. Market (you can read more about it here- (http://www.coindesk.com/vogogo-secures-key-payments-partnership-ahead-us-expansion/) In short, we've found a way to make a payment via your online banking (making the process easier and cheaper) and want to use this to help power the Bitcoin Market/trade. Our goals are to make buying BTC faster, cheaper, and easier without having to wait for things like account verification. Although I’ve only been a reader of Bitcoin so far, you guys have been an incredibly, incredibly helpful resource in learning about everything...so much that we wanted to reach out to see if you all would be willing to help us in giving us some feedback on what you want to see out of the future of BTC.
Any and all feedback would be helpful to seeing the potential of how we can help!
As a Bitcoin user, how do you describe BTC to people? What’s the biggest piece of feedback you hear about being an owner? When did you buy your first Bitcoin? Why’d you get into it? In looking at a lot of the wallets, the biggest selling points I see are security and ease of use. What are some other features you’ve seen or want to see in a wallet? How do you guys want to see BTC be implemented in your day-to-day? On that note, I saw recently Bitpay introduced NFC, which given the low interchange rate of Bitcoin could potentially help jumpstart the mobile payments game. Where do you all see this pair being headed? Do you think Bitcoin users could be given discounts at the register since the transaction is cheaper? How do you think major retailers could become more comfortable with BTC? Finally, I recently read an article in the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/innovations/wp/2014/11/05/i-bought-coffee-at-the-prague-cafe-that-only-accepts-bitcoin-heres-what-it-was-like/) on a café that accepts Bitcoin. Overall, the layout of how the restaurant utilized QR codes/Bitcoin really well, but have you all seen any other examples of this?

So I’m trying to onboard my 16yo cousin from a distance... but the Bitcoin.com wallet is not making it as easy as I think we need
Ok so I set up a wallet for my cousin, funded it with a little BCH, wrote down the 12 word seed, and then helped him import that to the Bitcoin.com app to get his wallet, easy right? No The first thing he tells me is the app wanted his iCloud account to log in, so he gave it... ugh... that should be later, and an option, not the FIRST dang step... Then he sends me a screenshot of the main screen, it lists “My BCH Wallet” in green, and “My Bitcoin Wallet” in orange below... again arg, why can’t it be “BitcoinCash” at least!?!? Of course he says “ok I see Bitcoin, but what’s BCH?” Then I tell him to open the orange Bitcoin wallet, then the 3 dots at top right, then delete the wallet - which can’t be done apparently - WHY!?!? I know Bitcoin.com doesn’t want to be TOO UNFAIR to BTC but geez, they should really make the initial experience a little bit better for newbies... and BCH
How can I make this "bitcoin geocache" project happen without letting wallets get imported?
I read an article about how people are hiding BCH wallets around San Francisco and had an idea for a cool project. I want to put stickers with private key QR codes around town and allow people to scan them when they find them and sweep the funds into their account. Kind of like some of the existing "bitcoin geocache" projects that are out there. But, I want the wallets to be re-usable, so that once a sticker is found, I can re-fund that wallet for the next lucky person. Sure, someone could keep a picture of the QR code and sweep it regularly, which is fine, but what I am worried about is people importing the wallets and getting notifications any time they are funded and immediately draining them. Is there a way to allow wallet sweeping but prevent someone from importing the wallet into their app? Does anyone see any other viable way I could do this? I'm hoping to fund the project with donations, was thinking I could have a public address and write some script or something to automatically distribute donations to random wallets around town. The idea is to spread awareness and educate locals about crypto by letting them find free money.

Should I move bitcoin from X input address to 1 or X output addresses when making new wallet?
I want to make a new wallet with a new seed phrase because my current 24-word seed phrase has potentially 80 bits of entropy (log2(24!)) instead of 256. I had entered it in shuffled order during standard Trezor recovery, and have since learned how to do it on device with advanced recovery. I have successfully created my new seed phrase, but am wondering whether I should transfer my bitcoin spread out across X input addresses to X output addresses or 1 output address. Is my understanding right that if I transfer to 1 output address, then the bitcoin that was spread out across the previous X input addresses could be traced together because they now reside in the same location? Because of this, should I transfer to X output addresses (with a 1 to 1 mapping)?
